Challenging facing lots of people within their self improvement path is where to begin. Following are several simple strategies for self improvement:
Be Grateful
Be grateful for that which you have and that which you do. You may only be earning the minimum wage but be grateful that you’re because this money helps you to purchase your food and pay your bills there are people less fortunate than you who can’t earn an income. If you have an automobile, be grateful you have one as this saves you walking.
Look for things to be grateful for every day, a minimum of five, and write them down. The more you’re grateful for, the more that will come to you.
Keep a Daily Journal
Should you ask the average person what they did last week, unless it was a major event, they would probably do not know. Keeping a daily journal does a few things for you; it lets you know that which you did and, most of all, it lets you know where you are now.
Jot down what you did during the day; who you met, in which you went, how you felt. Add such things as any ideas you had, things that you would like to do, places you would like to go. Use in your everyday journal entry your listing of 5 stuff you are grateful for that day.
Plan Ahead
Know what it’s that you want; write it down. Itemize your list, for example;
* Would you like a new home?
* What does it seem like?
* Would you like a new car?
* What sort?
* How much cash would you like to earn?
* Where would you like to work?
* Where do you want go on holiday?
* Be specific; some of these ideas will come from your journal. Next to each item write down when you want it. Set to start dating ? because this gives you a target regarding when to expect what you want. Write the items as a clear specific goal; for example,
* “in two years time I will live with my family in our new three bedroom home” or
* “in 12 months I will be driving a new Audi R8″ or
* “on the 31st of December I’m taking my loved ones to Hawaii on a holiday”
At this time don’t concern yourself too much with the way you will get what you would like as ‘the how’ can come for you in time. Set the goal, set the expectation and become grateful for it.
Finally, jot down the reason why you want anything that you want. Create an emotional attachment to what you want because this provides you with the motivation and the drive to get what you would like.
Be Positive
Know that you will get what you want. Twice each day read, aloud and with animation, the five things you are grateful for, for your day out of your journal. Very last thing prior to going to bed at night and very first thing when you are getting up each morning.
Once you have read your list of things you are grateful for; read and say your goals aloud and with animation. Say each goal in the present tense, as if you have diabetes already and say it with gratitude. This can drive you toward your ultimate goal and bring your goal toward you; for example,
* “I am so happy and grateful since my family and that i reside in our new three bedroom home” or
* “I am so happy and grateful now that I’m driving my new Audi R8″ or
* “I am so happy and grateful now to become on vacation in Hawaii with my family”
